Terms and conditions for
Sauk Valley Property Maintenance LLC (svpm)
1. Payment terms
Payment is due within 24 hours of the invoice date.
SVPM accepts payment via [e.g., cash, bank transfer, credit card] No checks. A late fee of 1.5% per month will be applied to all outstanding balances after 5 days.
2. Estimates vs. final cost
All estimates provided are based on the initial assessment of the work required. The final invoice reflects the actual work completed, which may differ due to unforeseen circumstances or issues discovered during the project (e.g., rotted wood, plumbing problems). All changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both the client and SVPM.
3. Project changes and cancellations
The client must approve any changes to the original work order in writing. If a client cancels a scheduled service with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of $25.00 may be applied.
4. Workmanship warranty
SVPM guarantees its labor and workmanship for 10 days from the invoice date. This warranty covers defects in the quality of work performed but does not cover issues caused by normal wear and tear, product failure, or damage caused by the client.
5. Limitation of liability
The client agrees that
SVPM is not liable for pre-existing damages to the property or for damage to furniture, fixtures, or other items left in the work area. All valuables should be secured before work begins. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid by the client for the services provided.
6. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide clear, safe access to the work area during the agreed-upon times. It is the client's responsibility to remove personal belongings and valuables from the workspace.
7. Governing law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within the state.
8. Acceptance of terms
Payment of this invoice constitutes the client's acceptance of these terms and conditions.
